Američka filmska akademija znanosti i umjetnosti objavila je službene nominacije za nagradu Oscar 2023. u sve 23 kategorije, a predstavio ih je voditeljski par Riz Ahmed i Allison Williams. Listu nominiranih očekivano predvodi Everything Everywhere All at Once sa 11 nominacija, a slijede All Quiet on the Western Front i The Banshees of Inisherin sa 9.
Najveća iznenađenja su svakako nominacije za Anu de Armas (Blonde) i Andreu Riseborough (To Leslie) koje su nominacije za najbolju glavnu glumicu “otele” Danielle Deadwyler (Till) i Violi Davis (The Woman King). Kod glumaca je najviše iznenadila nominacija za najbolje sporednog glumca za Briana Tyree Henryja (Causeway). Još jedno veliko iznenađenje je što južnokorejski Decision to Leave nije bio nominiran za najbolji strani film, a bio je jedan od favorita za osvajanje te nagrade.
95. po redu dodjela filmske nagrade Oscar bit će održana 12. ožujka u Dolby Theatreu u Hollywoodu, a dodjelu će voditi Jimmy Kimmel.
